edit side note: I have no issue at all with anyone who chooses to cosplay outside of their body type or gender! Go for it!!! For race, I’m not super knowledgeable about it, but white cosplayers should do a LOT of research in the cosplay community and about race in media if they’re considering cosplaying a character of color.
